I ordered the Morgan horse on behalf of my 8 year old. When we ordered it we went by the image that was shown on the OG website for the horse. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the corrected image for the what we received. My daughter wanted the static leg Morgan horse and we assumed because that was shown in the first image that’s what she would be ordering. It turned out not to be the case. My daughter received the poseable legged horse instead. I understand now that in the full description of the product it states that it is the poseable model and yes in hidesight I should have fully read though it, however we used the ‘Quick shop’ option and I didn’t think that the product would be any different from the image or the description -‘Our Generation Morgan Horse’. Why didn’t it just say ‘Poseable Morgan Horse’ and have the correct image for it.
I would have expected that any reliable company would not feel they need to display images of the wrong product given that they did have images of the correct horse in the full description.
I was completely disgusted when it arrived especially added to the disappointment of it being the wrong horse it also had buffs and scraps on it.
Also we could have bought the same Poseable horse in Smyths 4 miles away from us for nearly £17 less!
Unfortunately when my daughter seen the horse, and some parents might understand this, she felt too guilty to return it, saying ‘but if I don’t rescue her nobody else will’. Of course we had to keep her
I feel horrible that my daughter spent her Christmas money on something that she didn’t really want and also spent more on it than she needed to!
As for the horse my daughter plays happily with it. It is what we expect from an OG horse. Saddle too big and dolls don’t fit but kids still love them.
I won’t be buying from OG world again. I think that this was a cheap marketing trick that I would expect from an unreputable site not an established site like Our Generation World.
