We list all Our Generation Dolls which have been tested for UK sale. If you see dolls on US sites we hope to have them in future years. Due to European testing legislation they won't be available in the UK before Christmas.
What is the difference between poseable and non-poseable dolls?
Poseable dolls are softer and slightly bendable at their elbows and knees which means they can sit better on horses and pose in ballerina poses. They are however not jointed. Non-poseable have hip and shoulder joints but do not bend at the knees or elbows and tend to be slightly harder limbs.

How do I look after my dolls’ hair?
- For best results, we recommend you brush your Our Generation doll’s hair with a wire brush.
- Divide your dolls’ hair into small sections and gently brush them one at a time. Brush out the tangles by starting from the last layer of hair then moving to the top.
- If your dolls’ hair is very tangled, spray water from a bottle to create some light mist, this will loosen the knots.
- If your Our Generation doll has wavy hair, brush the ends gently to preserve the curls
- If your Our Generation dolls have thick, tight curls, it is better to use your fingers to style the hair. Separate the hair into small sections and work your fingers through it.
- If you want to create braided styles, braiding your doll’s hair when it is slightly damp can help to control frizzy ends.
- Do not use styling products like hair gel or mousse as this can damage your doll’s hair
- Do not use a hair dryer, curling iron or hair straighteners, as this will damage your dolls’ hair.
- Always keep you dolls’ hair away from heat!
How does the hair on the Our Generation Hair Play Doll change lengths?
To make the hair grow:
Gently pull out the (braided) hair from the crown of your doll’s head until it is at the length you like or it is completely extending.
To shorten the hair:
Push the button on the flower shaped knob on the back of your doll and turn it anti-clockwise. As you turn this, the hair will wind back into the hair grow mechanism.
To avoid hair tangling inside the hair grow mechanism, it is a good idea to keep the hair in braids when it is being wound back.
