Caring for Our Generation Dolls

Caring For Your Our Generation Dolls

Our Generation dolls can be very special friends so it is important that they are well looked after! Here is a short guide that will explain how to keep your Our Generation doll nice and clean.

Things you’ll need:

  • Q-tips/cotton wool buds
  • Tooth brush
  • Towel, wash cloth or sponge
  • Mild soap/washing up liquid
  • Water

  • Avoid heat!
  • Do not use strong chemicals!

Our Generation dolls need to be looked after, so every doll should be cleaned regularly. This should only take 10 minutes.

To clean her body, remove all clothes and accessories. Then, using a warm damp towel, washcloth or sponge wipe down her body. If there are some stains, you might need to add a bit of soap or washing up liquid. For really difficult stains, you could use a toothbrush to scrub them out. To clean the fingers of your doll, use Q-tips to get into those small nooks and crannies.

Make sure not to use anything with strong chemicals and do not use hot water. This can damage your doll.

You’ll also need to keep Our Generation dolls clothes clean, especially after all of those adventures!

Do not put Our Generation clothes in a washing machine or tumble dryer because this will ruin them! Instead, wet the top of a Q-tip and wipe of any spots or stains on her clothes. To wash a whole Our Generation outfit, you could place it in a bowl of cold water for a couple of minutes, then leave it to air dry.

Our Generation dolls like to have different hairstyles. It is important that their hair is well looked after. Brush your doll’s hair regularly with a wire brush. When you brush her hair, brush it in small sections to make sure all those knots and tangles come out! Don’t use any heat or styling products when you’re styling your Our Generation Dolls hair, as this will damage it!

Your Our Generation doll might have lots of Our Generation accessories, to help her tell her story. Make sure you look after these accessories too! The best way to do this is to wipe them down with a Q-tip dipped in some cold water, or a washcloth if the accessory is quite large. Always let your accessories air dry and keep them away from direct heat.
